Nautical Disaster (song)
}}
"Nautical Disaster" is the third single by The Tragically Hip from the band's 1994 album, ''Day for Night''. The song peaked at #26 on the Canadian ''RPM'' Singles chart.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Top Singles - Volume 61, No. 10, April 10, 1995 )〕 The song was performed by the band on their 1995 appearance on ''Saturday Night Live'', along with the band's previous single "Grace, Too".
The song is one of several Tragically Hip singles which were developed from improvised bridge jams during live performances of the band's signature song "New Orleans Is Sinking".〔Michael Barclay, Ian A.D. Jack and Jason Schneider, ''Have Not Been the Same: The Can-Rock Renaissance 1985-1995''. ECW Press. ISBN 978-1-55022-992-9.〕
Justin Rutledge performed an acoustic cover of the song on his 2013 album ''Valleyheart''.
